How to Send Clay impressions, Photos, Prints or Announcements.

Clay Impressions
As soon as you order a Little Keepsake Clay Impression we will send you a clay impression kit for you to obtain your child's impression at home. The kit includes mess-free, non-toxic modeling material, parchment paper, instructions, customization form and pre-paid US Priority Mail shipping box. Follow the simple instructions on how to take your child's prints and send the impressions back to us in the enclosed packaging by either giving the package to your US mail carrier or drop off at any US Post office.

Photos
Most photo windows are either 5x7 for the large windows and 3.5 x 5 for the smaller windows. Unless otherwise requested, Little Keepsakes will make a duplicate of your photo and resize the photo to best fit with the keepsake you have chosen. Photos that are 5x7 or 4x6 work best for this process, however we can work with most sizes and orientations. If your photo is copyright protected, then we will use the original photo.
When mailing your original photo we recommend that you use photo-safe mailers to protect the original photo or place a piece of cardboard in the envelope to ensure it arrives to us safely without bending. After we receive the photo the original is protected and sent back with your finished product in a protective sleeve. We can also accept your scan of your photo at 300 dpi minimum and saved as a PC compatible .tif, .jpg or Adobe Photoshop file on a CD.

Ink Footprints or Handprints
We can use prints you take of your child at home, or the prints that the hospital obtained when your child was born. To send us your prints, either send an original copy or a quality photocopy of the prints. We will remove the background form lines that might interfere with hospital prints and correct any smudging. All originals will be returned to you along with the finished product.

To take prints of your child at home, we recommend using our Little Keepsakes Print Kit. With purchase of any Little Keepsake product you can add a FREE Print Kit to take your child's prints at home. The print kit includes 2 infant-safe, non-toxic, non-irritating hospital footprint ink plates, white cardstock and instructions on how to take perfect prints. The ink wipes off easily with a baby wipe and a small amount of baby oil. Do not worry if print is not “perfect” – small smudges and imperfections can be removed during the digital transfer process. If you take multiple prints on one piece of paper, please indicate which print you would like us to use.
